Want the 'blueprint' for the perfect get away? Our newest suites - Marshall and Mackenzie - are named for our building's Victorian architect.

We've lavished the same level of attention to design as he did on the original architectural plans - two sumptuous suites decorated with original Jack Vettriano artwork and with patio doors leading to a secluded garden area.

We think the hotel’s eminent Victorian architect Marshall Mackenzie, would approve of the contemporary vibe of the Mackenzie suite and its neighbour.

Enter through the spacious, luxurious bedroom through the doors into the light and airy living space. From here the patio doors lead to an outdoor grassed area.

The Marshall has all the trappings and accoutrements of Nespresso machines, Egyptian cotton sheets and the latest TV tech, but we ramp up the atmosphere with contemporary Scottish artwork and lavish soft furnishings.

Needless to say, the Mackenzie Suite has an impressive Chester-style bathroom.

The Mackenzie suite neighbours the Marshall suite, making them an excellent choice for bridal party preparations.
