Your Christmas Table Awaits at The Chester Hotel

Prepare your taste buds for a yuletide treat. From 27 November to 24 December 2025, our chefs invite you to enjoy a festive market menu that celebrates the best of the season, all served with our signature Chester style.

We’ve chosen the finest local ingredients to showcase traditional Christmas favourites with an elegant twist. Begin your meal with tempting options such as chicken liver parfait, smoked salmon with chive crowdie, poached pear with fennel and goat’s cheese, or hearty lentil soup with ham hock.

The centrepiece? Our classic roast turkey with all the trimmings. You’ll also find beautifully prepared venison, cod loin with brown shrimp and pomme purée, or wild mushroom tagliatelle with truffle and parmesan.

No Christmas menu would be complete without a perfectly judged sweet. Indulge in sticky toffee pudding, eggnog crème brûlée, toasted coconut panna cotta with winter berry compote, or a selection of fine cheeses with crispbread and chutney.

Lunch is served from 12 noon with last sitting at 3:30pm, and dinner from 6pm with last sitting at 8:30pm.
